MIECCA provides free non-medical emergency transportation for chemo patients for treatment. We are aligned with the community for purpose of addressing resident’s needs for accessing transportation to get treatment and other services.

MIECCA’s mission is to help underprivileged kids to have access to basic facilities to improve, explore and provide general education and computers in India.

USA

MIECCA offers free non-emergency ground transportation to and from treatment. We believe that transportation shouldn’t be a barrier to cancer treatment.
We have volunteers that want the best outcome for all chemo patients that we transport.

We take our mission very seriously: encouraging in delivering the highest level of professionalism with every patient and trip. Our community services to Frisco helps chemo patients move promptly and comfortably from their residence to chemo treatment.

India

Focus on Education to Underprivileged Areas and Community Services.
MIECCA promotes self-sufficient and educated communities through proven approaches. We provide underprivileged children with essential academic and socio-emotional skills to initiate normalcy in their lives.

Our underprivileged education program strengthens children’s commitment to their own education, works with them to develop essential life skills, and increases support for education among communities.

MIECCA aims to inspire and support students to reach their potential, make participation in the community, and establish lifelong learning goals.

At MIECCA, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to gain education and learn. MIECCA believes in good quality education helps children reach their full potential and learn and thrive.

MIECCA has adopted “Sarkari Heriya Prathamika Balakara Patashale” , a Government Middle school at Saligrama, Krishnarajanagar taluk, Mysuru Jilla for this program. The school currently has about 50 number of students studying between 1st – 7th standards. The students are dropping out of school due to lack of facilities.

MIECCA is working with school administration to improve general facilities at this government school, to provide study material and equipment to encourage students to stay at school. Initially the program will be focused mainly basic needs stated below.

Program Focus:

  1. School teachers
  2. Basic Facilities – Toilets, Drinking water, Lunch Shade

For the starters, the school lacks basic access to drinking water, clean toilets and shade for the school children during lunch. This project is to build/repair and most importantly maintain toilets for students.

The second priority of this project is to provide access to clean drinking water to students. Current facility is inadequate. The project involves building drinking water facility for student’s usage.

The third priority is to build a shade for student’s lunch. At this point in time, the students are forced to have their lunch in open space.

The project focused on basis facilities is expected to cost about $5,000.
